Myesha Cox

BCBA/CAS

Myesha is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)  and Certified Autism Specialist (CAS). She is passionate about helping children with developmental disabilities reach their fullest potential and transition into the community to live their best life! 
She was born and raised in the southside of Chicago and still currently resides there. Myesha graduated with her Bachelor degree in Psychology from Monmouth College. She then obtained her Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University. Myesha gained over 1500 hours of field experience , in a variety of settings like homes , school, and adult CILA's. She became a Behavior Analyst and Autism Specialist and does consulting with caregivers. She is also a member of the Black Applied Behavior Analyst Inc. 
Myesha is passionate about underserved communities, small victories and lasting change. She enjoys coaching parents and other caregivers on the science of behaviors and how they can apply it in their everyday lives. She does this by using Natural Environment Teaching , and incorporating learning in people's everyday environment in basic practical ways.
Myesha is a proud wife,  mom of 1 human and 1 fur baby, Max! She also loves to travel and find the best taco spots in the city!
