Rebecca completed her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Spanish at Penn State University. While at Penn State, Rebecca was a research assistant in Dr. Krista Wilkinson’s Visual Scene Display lab. Rebecca completed her graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
After graduation, Rebecca worked in a public high school in Maryland. She has extensive experience working with children with severe disabilities, language disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. Some of Rebecca’s interests include social language and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication).
Rebecca recently relocated to Chicago. She is thrilled to continue working with children. She hopes to help many children in Chicago become more confident, competent communicators. She is a certified speech-language pathologist in Illinois, as well as a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
