Sarah Stevenson

Behavioral Specialist

Sarah is a California native that has recently relocated to Chicago. She holds both a bachelors and masters degree in Psychology focused on behavior modification and is an international board-certified behavior coach. Sarah has worked for over 20 years with individuals of all ages in the public & private sector behavioral health fields, specializing in social skills and emotional regulation. In her career she has worked in homes, schools and multi-disciplinary private clinics. She is trained in crisis communication and de-escalation, applied behavior analysis, and is a certified yoga instructor. She implements cognitive behavior therapy paired with mindfulness and positive reinforcement to motivate her clients to eliminate maladaptive behaviors and empowers them to replace them with positive life affirming behavior patterns.  Sarah is also a professional published writer of articles about implementing research-based behavior strategies to positively enhance one’s life. She is a proud mother of an adult son and loves meditating, doing yoga, traveling, reading, sewing and hanging out with her kitties Hank and Friday.
