Jamie Fagerburg

MS, OTR/L

Jamie has more than 10 years of experience working with individuals with and without identified disabilities across the lifespan to reach their potential and achieve satisfaction within their daily occupations. The bulk of her OT experience has been within therapeutic schools, working to prepare students with autism, intellectual disability and/or emotional or behavioral disability to return to their home schools and engage with their peers in the least-restrictive environment. While Jamie has experience targeting all areas of occupation (activities of daily living, education, work, rest and sleep, play, leisure, and social participation), she is most excited to help her students realize personally meaningful success by encouraging self-identification of needs, goal-setting, and facilitated problem-solving. She believes therapy should be fun!

Jamie lives in Chicago with her husband, two daughters, and their dog Berto. She enjoys travelling, family biking, sewing, and coffee.
