Sam Holzschu

Samantha graduated from Western Michigan University in Grand Rapids with her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She is also the Co-Chair of the Sensory Integration and Processing SIS for the Illinois Occupational Therapy Association. She is currently working on receiving her Micro-Credential as an Executive Functions Consultant.

Much of her pediatric experience lies within therapeutic day schools, in-home and in-school settings with diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, social emotional processing, executive functioning, and sensory regulation difficulties. She believes that collaboration with teachers, other disciplines, parents, and caregivers is an important part of a child’s success and makes this a priority with her care. Her passion lies with providing individualized services to improve functional independence in everyday activities, while having fun!

In her spare time, Samantha enjoys cooking, baking, reading, yoga and walking on the lakefront downtown Chicago. She also enjoys trying new restaurants!
